A 73-year old man with the complaint of left hypogastrium discomfort was referred to our hospital. Abdominal CT showed retroperitoneal tumor with irregular margin that oppressed surrounding the pancreas and left kidney(8×7.2cm). We performed needle biopsy of the tumor which demonstrated small cell carcinoma of retroperitoneal origin. We administered four courses of chemotherapy with Irinotecan and Cisplatin and added radiation therapy in the middle of the fourth course of chemotherapy. After the treatments the contraction of the tumor had reached 78.8%on CT findings.
