皮膚悪性腫瘍および癌前駆性疾患

MALIGNANT TUMOR AND PRECANCEROUS DERMATOSES

I．はじめに

　私達は，先に，皮膚悪性腫瘍の地理的分布を山口県について検討した結果，皮膚悪性腫瘍の山口県における郡市別罹患率分布は年間快晴日数，微酸土壌及び全癌死亡率の各分布にそれぞれ密接に関連を示すことを見出した。そこで，今回は調査対象地域を西日本全域に拡げた場合，これらの事項が如何なる関係を示すかについて検討して見た。

The samples for this study were collected from the departments of dermatology of medical schools, hospitals and private offices of 280 dermatologists in the western part of Japan. Number of the patients of the malignat tumor of epidermal origin per 100, 000 population in different cities was calculated.

The incidence ratio was higher in Kyushu than in Chugoku district. It was higher in the coastal area than in the mountainous area.

The geographic distribution of the incidence coincides with the number of day of clear sky and with length of daytime.

It suggests that chronic exposure to sun may give some local factor for precancerous state in the skin

Its number was significantly higher in the area of slightly or weak acidic soil. It suggests that this kinds of soil might offer some factor for systemic induction of precancerous state of the whole body.
