蝶形骨洞に生じた脊索腫に海綿静脈洞症候群を認めた1例

A Case Report of Cavernous Sinus Syndrome with Chordoma in the Sphenoid Sinus

　はじめに

　脊索腫（chordoma）は蝶形骨洞を含むトルコ鞍近傍に生じる腫瘍の1つである。

　今回われわれは，蝶形骨洞を占拠する脊索腫で海綿静脈洞症候群を認めた1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Chordoma is a tumor which arises from the rudimentof the notochord. A 61-year-old man complained of the left blepharedema and headache. Because the left oculo-motor and abducent nerve paralyses were recognized, this case was thought as having cavernous sinus syn-drome. The mass reduction method was performed and the tumor was diagnosed as chordoma. The oculomotor and abducent nerve paralyses were persisted postopera-tively.
