扁桃周囲膿瘍で発症したSweet病の1症例

A Case of Sweet's Syndrome Associated with Peritonsillar Abscess

　はじめに

　Sweet病は独立した疾患として認められ，悪性腫瘍，特に白血病との合併の多いことが知られている。また近年，骨髄増殖性疾患^1），骨髄異形成症候群^2）などに合併した本症の報告が増えている。

　この疾患は，しばしば前駆症状として咽頭痛を伴うことが知られており，扁桃病巣感染症との関連が疑われている。

　今回，われわれは扁桃周囲膿瘍で香川労災病院耳鼻咽喉科を受診し，その特徴的な皮疹の病理組織所見からSweet病と確認した1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

We reported a case of Sweet's syndrome associat-ed with peritonsillar abscess.

Sweet's syndrome was suspected from periphery blood leukocytosis and typical eruption, and biopsywas performed.

The histopathological findings were compatible with Sweet's syndrome.

The patient's fever and eruption disappeared after steroids were administered.

A substance promoting random migration of neutrophils is said to exist in the tonsil, therefore investigation is also necessary to find a focal infec-tion in the tonsil. Dermatosis accompanied with otorhinolaryngological symptom is not rare.
