聴神経腫瘍の臨床像の10年間の推移

Statistical Analysis of Acoustic Neuroma Over the Last 10 Years

　はじめに

　近年，MRIをはじめとした画像診断技術の発展に伴い，聴神経腫瘍が初期の段階で発見されるようになり，聴力正常例や非定型例の報告^1〜5）も増加している。これらの症例に対する治療法の選択は重要な問題となってきている。今回，当院における聴神経腫瘍の臨床像の推移を検討する目的で，過去10年間の統計的観察と治療法の選択について考察した。

We analyzed clinical features of 111 cases ofacoustic neuromas seen at the Hokkaido University Hospital from 1988 to 1997.

As a result, we recognized the tendency to diagnose this tumor smaller in size, younger in age, less hearing impairment year by year with more popu-larization of MRI examination.

We postulate that the choice of treatment for acoustic neuroma should be careful.
