聴器癌12症例の臨床的検討

Twelve Cases of Cancer of the Ear

　はじめに

　聴器癌は頭頸部悪性腫瘍のなかでも比較的まれな疾患である。しかも早期発見が遅れるケースがしばしばあり，現在においても予後不良となることが多い。また聴器は感覚器であり，解剖学的にも複雑な形態をとっており，さらに側頭骨内を隣接して重要な血管や神経が走行しているため，治療上多くの問題が生じるのが現状である。今回われわれは，過去14年間に12例の聴器癌を経験したので，臨床症状，治療法，予後を中心に文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Twelve patients with cancer of the ear were treated at our department during past 14 years. Theyincluded 9 cases of cancer of the external auditory canal, 2 middle ear cancers and one auricle cancer (extrinsic cancer : 3, intrinsic cancer : 9). The path-ological types were squamous cell carcinoma in 9 cases and adenoid cystic carcinoma in 4 cases. The five-year cumulative survival rate calculated by Kaplan-Meier's method was 75% in all cases (extrinsic cancer : 100%, intrinsic cancer : 67%).
