Two hundreds and twenty one cases of facial fractures were collectively analyzed. These were due to 74 athletic injuries and 147 other injuries. The average ages for the athletic injuries and the other injuries were 21.5 and 28.2 years of age. In ages between 10-29, 86.5% were athletic and 57.9% were other injuries. Male to female ratio was 74.2% : 25.8% in general. Among the types of facial fractures, nasal bone fractures oc-cupied a major portion and in 75. 0% by athletic injuries and 59.1% by other injuries. Simple bone fractures were by far the most often seen and combined fractures were seen in 2.7% by athletic injuries and in 4.8% by other injuries.
