咽頭アミロイドーシスの1症例

Pharyngeal Amyloidosis:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　アミロイドーシスはエオジンで均質に染まるアミロイドの細胞外沈着を本体とする疾患で，全身性と限局性に大別される^8）。限局性アミロイドーシスのうち上気道に限局したアミロイドーシスは，1875年にZieglerやBurowによって報告されて以来いくつかの報告がある^1）。ところが，咽頭に限局したアミロイドーシスの報告は少ない^2〜5）。今回，われわれは咽頭に限局し，悪性腫瘍との鑑別が必要であったアミロイドーシスの1例を経験したので報告する。

A 52-year-old male complaining of sore throat presented with a red and partially yellowish mass in the pharynx. Histopathology was confirmed by Congo red staining and electron microscopy and the diagnosis of amyloidosis was made. Systemic amyloidosis was excluded by several clinical examinations including rectal biopsy. Pharyngeal amyloidosis is a relatively rare and usually benign, however, the differentiation from maligr ancy is mandatory.
