甲状軟骨外に進展した喉頭脂肪腫症例

Lipoma of the Larynx extended to the Thyroid Cartilage

はじめに

　脂肪腫は通常全身の皮下組織に見られる良性腫瘍であり，これが喉頭に発生することは極めて稀である。

　今回我々は，本腫瘍を頸部外切開法により摘出し，病理組織学的にintramuscular lipomaと診断された症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 51-year-old female with a chief complaint of hoarseness for 4 months was reported.

A mass was suspected as lipoma of the larynx by endoscopic examination and CT scanning.

This tumor was extrinsic and was removed by surgical operation from the larynx under general anesthesia. Histologically the lesion was composed of mature lipocytes that infiltrated skeletal muscle tissue.

Pre-operative paralysis of the recurrent laryngeal nerve was remaind.
