198Au Grain Interstitial Therapy on Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Uvula

はじめに

　2例の原発性口蓋垂癌に¹⁹⁸Auグレインを用いて組織内照射を行い，良好な治療効果を得た。本治療法の手技は簡便で，外照射による合併症の低下も期待できる有用な治療法と考えたので報告する。

Two cases with primary squamous cell carcinoma of the uvula were treated using ¹⁹⁸Au grain com-bined with external irradiation. This appears to be an effective method of treatment which has fulfilled its aim of local and rapid treatment with no post radiation complications.
