口蓋扁桃に巨大な腫瘤を形成した急性前骨髄球性白血病の1例

A Case of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia with Large Tumor Formation in the Palatine Tonsil

I．はじめに

　白血病のさいにみられる口腔・咽頭所見としては，扁桃の腫脹，壊死，潰瘍形成，出血などが挙げられるが，今回われわれは扁桃に悪性腫瘍を思わせる巨大な腫瘤を形成し，剖検によって非白血性，腫瘤形成性の急性前骨髄球性白血病と診断された症例を経験したので報告する。

A 63-year-old man had complained of sore throat for a month before the admission. A large ulcerated tumor with necrosis was found on the left side of the throat. Repeated histological exam-inations did not reveal any abnormal characteristic findings. Results of blood examination were normal for two months after the admission. He died from pulmonary hemorrhage. It was only eighteen daysbefore death that immature leukocytes appeared in peripheral blood and a diagnosis of acute promyelocytic leukemia was made.

In the present paper, leukemia with tumor formation, aleukemic leukemia, and acute pro-myelocytic leukemia are discussed.
