鼻腔に発生した孤立性線維性腫瘍の2例

Two cases of solitary fibrous tumor in the nasal cavity

Ⅰ　はじめに

　孤立性線維性腫瘍は，典型的には胸膜に発生する間葉系腫瘍である。胸膜以外の場所では，四肢，気道，腹腔，尿路に発生することが知られている^1～4）。耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告例は非常に稀であり，なかでも鼻腔に発生した例は邦文論文では3例しか報告されていない^5～7）。

　今回われわれは，鼻腔に発生した症例を2例経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Solitary fibrous tumor（SFT）,also known as mesothelioma,is a rare spindle cell tumor which typically arises from pleura. We reported two cases of solitary fibrous tumor in the nasal cavity. Preoperatively,the first case had been diagnosed as hemangioma and the other as,hemangiopericytoma. Both patients received tumor excision and histopathological studies demonstrated the diagnosis of SFT. The nasal cavity is a rare site for SFT. Because of its rareness,the diagnosis of SFT can be challenging. The clinicopathologic features,differential diagnosis of SFT were discussed.
