A case of a solitary fibrous tumor of the nasal cavity successfully resected using coblation

はじめに

　孤立性線維性腫瘍（solitary fibrous tumor：SFT）は，1931年にKlempererら^1）により初めて報告された間葉系細胞由来の腫瘍で，そのほとんどが胸膜などの漿膜に発生し，鼻副鼻腔領域での発生は稀である。SFTは血流豊富な腫瘍であり，内視鏡下での摘出手術時に難渋することが多い。今回われわれは，鼻腔SFTに対してコブレーション機器を用い，大量出血することなく良好な術野で摘出できた経験を報告する。

　Solitary fibrous tumor （SFT） occurring in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is extremely rare, with only 25 cases being previously reported in the Japanese literature. Here we report a case of SFT occurring in the nasal cavity of a 28-year-old male. A contrast-enhanced computed tomography scan showed a heterogeneously enhanced mass. Previous reports of SFT tumors arising in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses describe them as hemorrhagic tumors. The tumor was successfully removed via an endoscopic transnasal approach using coblation plasma technology.
