上顎洞原発と考えられた小細胞癌の1例

A case of primary small cell carcinoma of the maxillary sinus

Ⅰ　はじめに

　鼻・副鼻腔発生の小細胞癌は比較的稀な腫瘍である。症例数が少ないため，治療法が確立されておらず，原発性か転移性かの判別が困難なことが多い。今回，われわれは上顎洞原発と考えられた小細胞癌の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　In a 64-year-old male with small cell carcinoma of the maxillary sinus,radical surgery was performed followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The recurrence was not observed for 12 months postoperatively. Small cell carcinoma of the maxillary sinus is relatively rare. No evidence of progress has been found after the treatment. Strict observation of this tumor is required.
