耳下腺深葉に発生した脂肪腫の1症例

A case of deep lobe parotid lipoma

Ⅰ　はじめに

　耳下腺に発生する腫瘍の多くは多形腺腫やワルチン腫瘍などの上皮性腫瘍であり，非上皮性腫瘍は比較的稀である。特に非上皮性腫瘍である耳下腺脂肪腫は耳下腺腫瘍の約1％を占めるにすぎないとされている^1,2）。今回われわれは耳下腺深葉脂肪腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Lipoma is a common neoplasm in the head and neck,but very rare in the region of the parotid gland,constituting about one percent of tumors of the parotid gland.

　A 45-year-old man presented with a deep lobe parotid lipoma extending into the parapharyngeal space,which was treated by surgical excision. The fat suppression MRI technique strongly confirmed the diagnosis.
