側頭部に発生したデスモイド腫瘍症例

Extra-abdominal desmoid tumor of the temporal region

Ⅰ．はじめに

　デスモイド腫瘍は10～20歳代の若年層に好発し，女性にやや多い筋膜・筋腱膜より発生する線維性軟部腫瘍である。密に増生した膠原線維と線維芽細胞の集簇像よりなり，異形や異常分裂像は観察されない良性腫瘍である。組織学的に悪性所見は認めないが，周囲の筋線維の長軸方向に浸潤性の発育を示すことから，局所再発が多く治療に難渋する例が多いことで知られる^1,2）。今回われわれは，側頭部に発生したデスモイド腫瘍の1症例を経験したので報告する。

　A 48-year-old male presented with a hard nodule in the temporal area. He noticed it a year before,and the pain became aggravated gradually. It was diagnosed of osteoma of the temporal bone,according to the findings of MRI and bone scintigram. The surgical excision was performed,and the postoperative diagnosis was extra-abdominal desmoid. It is well known that desmoid tumors often recur.
