顎下腺異物の1症例

A Foreign Body in the Submaxillary Gland:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　唾液腺あるいはその導管内に異物が迷入することは稀なことで，国内の文献では，1936年鈴木^1）（顎下腺）の1例報告を初めとして，現在まで15例の報告があるにすぎない。

　今回われわれは，顎下腺内に刺入した魚骨により唾疝痛を呈し唾石症を疑った顎下腺異物症例を経験したので報告する。

A 31-year-old male patient presented with an intraglandular foreign body lodged in the left sub-maxillary gland. The foreign body was 18×1 mm in size, had a swordlike form which was later found to be a fish bone (sea bream). The route of this fish bone into the submaxillary gland was unknown. We believed from the clinical course that the foreign body penetrated into the submaxillary gland through oral mucosa.
