　プロスタグランティン系点眼薬を単独使用している正常眼圧緑内障15例に，ニプラジロール1日2回の点眼を追加併用した。ウノプロストン群8眼の平均眼圧（mmHg）は，ウノプロストン点眼前163であり，点眼後は15.0になり（p＝0.259），ニプラジロール点眼開始24週後に13.3と有意に下降した（p＝0.011）。ラタノプロスト点眼群7例では，ラタノプロスト点眼前17.6であり，点眼後15.4と有意に下降し（p＝0.002），ニプラジロール開始24週後に13.7と有意に下降した（p＝0.011）。プロスタグランディン系点眼薬を単独使用している正常眼圧緑内障に，ニプラジロール追加点眼は眼圧下降に有効である。

We evaluated the additive effect of topical nipradilol on 15 eyes of normal-tension glaucoma treated by prostaglandin only. In 8 eyes, the intraocular pressure (IOP) averaged 16.3mmHg before unoprostone, 15.0mmHg (p=0.259) after unoprostone, and significantly decreased to 13.3mmHg (p=0.011) 24 weeks after start of nipradilol twice daily. In another group of 7 eyes, the lop averaged 17.6mmHg before latanoprost, decreased to 15.4mmHg (p=0.002) after latanoprost, and to 13.7mmHg (p=0.011) 24 weeks after start of nipradilol. The findings show that topical nipradilol is effective for normal-tension glaucoma when added to unoprostone or latanoprost.
