（25E-7） 過去22か月の期間に，網膜色素変性症患者28名に入院による教育訓練を行った。退院後の患者の動向から，訓練による生活の質（quality of life）の向上，障害の認知と受容が得られた事例が多いと判断された。このような教育訓練の成果は，一般の眼科診療を補完するものとして評価される。
We educated 28 patients of retinitis pigmentosa under hospitalization during the past 22 months. After going through this program, the majority of patients had improved quality of life, recognition and acceptance of the disorder. The present education program is of value in supplementing ordinary eye care institutions for patients of retinitis pigmentosa.
