目的:集団検診に適した簡便な矯正視力測定法の記述と評価。方法と対象:板付レンズに薄い枠を付加し,これで任意のレンズに針穴板を重ねることができる。まず針穴板がない状態で被験者に板付レンズを持たせ,最もよく見える球面レンズを選ばせる。次にそのレンズに針穴板を重ねて視力表を読ませる。眼科外来患者40名79眼をこの方法と従来法で検査した。結果:本法による視力と従来法による視力の相関係数と99%信頼区間は,従来法視力0.05から2.0の間で0.95(0.91〜0.97)であった。結論:本法は矯正視力測定法として有効である。
Purpose: To describe and evaluate a new simple method of corrected visual acuity measurement for mass screening. Method and Cases: The device consists of a pinhole plate and a series of spherical lenses placed in a bar. A thin frame is added to the bar as a container of a pinhole plate. The pinhole can be placed in front of any lens. The examinee is asked to find the best lens in the bar for seeing at far without a pinhole plate. The examinee is then asked to read the optotypes through the pinhole and the lens. This method and the old method were tested by 79 eyes of 40 outpatients who had corrected visual acuity ranging from 0.05 to 2.0. Results: Findings by the old method and by the present method were analyzed. The correlation coefficient and the confidence interval with 99% was 0.95 (0.91~0.97). Conclusion: The present method is useful for measuring the best corrected visual acuity.
