網膜感電力の簡便測定法

A new clinical phosphene test using a simple apparatus

1）網膜感電性の大まかな程度を表わす意味で網膜感電力という言葉を用いることにした。

　2）眼科臨床的検査法として実用する目的で，網膜感電力を簡便に測定する装置と方法を新たに考案した。

　3）この装置と方法により，0からⅣまでの5段階の網膜感電力指数（仮称）を定めるようにした。

　4）この指数の正常値がⅣであることを確認し一方，眼底や視神経が障害されている数種の眼疾患では，この指数が多くの場合Ⅲ以下に低下する傾向があることを認めた。

　5）この検査法が術前自内障の予後推定に有意な参考となることを示した。

　6）今後，広く眼科臨床面でこの検査法が役立つことを期待して更に検討を加えていきたいと考えている。

A simple apparatus for electric phosphene test was devised. Using this, the rough thre-shold of electric phosphene can be determined within a few minutes.

The data are classified in"The Index Num-ber of Retinal Excitability" (O, I, II, III and IV). This Index Number is IV in normal:and tends to be lower in patient with some eye disease. This test is useful especially for considering the postoperative prognosis of cataract.
