黄斑部硬性白斑に対し黄斑下手術を施行した糖尿病を伴わない黄斑症の2例

Submacular surgery for macular hard exudates in two non-diabetic patients

　黄斑下の硬性白斑摘出術を2例2眼に行った。1例は網膜細動脈瘤，他の1例は網膜静脈分枝閉塞症であり，レーザー網膜光凝固後に黄斑部の硬性白斑沈着が増悪していた。2例とも糖尿病はなかった。矯正視力はそれぞれ0.1, 0.02であった。黄斑下硬性白斑摘出術後に矯正視力はそれぞれ0.5，0.05に改善した。非糖尿病者の黄斑下硬性白斑沈着に対して摘出術が奏効した症例である。

We performed submacular surgery to remove macular hard exudates in 2 eyes of 2 non-diabetic patients. The causative disease was retinal arterior macroaneurysm in one eye and branch retinal occlusion in the other. Prior laser photocoagulation was followed by increased macular hard exudates. The corrected visual acuity was 0.1 and 0.02 respectively. Following submacular sugery, the visual acuity improved to 0.5 and 0.05 respectively. These cases illustrate that submacular surgery may be effective for macular hard exudates in non-diabetic eyes.
