（19-レセ1-10）　ぶどう膜炎患者の白内障に対する眼内レンズ（IOL）挿入術が，本邦でどの程度行われているかアンケート調査を行った。調査対象は，全国の各大学病院および主要眼科病院139施設で，1997年1月にアンケート用紙を郵送した。回答率は77％（107／139施設）であった。IOL挿入術を行っている施設は99％（96／97施設）で，適応は61％が全てのぶどう膜炎に対し行っていたが，32％はベーチェット病を除外していた。IOLの種類はPMMA，ヘパリン処理およびアクリルレンズがほぼ同等に挿入されていた。全国の多くの施設でIOL挿入が行われていることが明らかになったが，予後の検討が必要と考えられた。

We surveyed the current status of intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in uveitic eyes in Japan. A question-naire was sent to 139 major ophthalmological institutions, resulting in recovery from 107 (77%). Publication of the results was granted from 97 institutions. Cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation was routinely performed in 96(99%). This procedure was practised to all types of uveitis in 61%. Behçet disease was regarded as contraindication in 32%. IOL made of PMMA was used in 40%, heparin surface-modified ones in 38% and acrylic ones in 39%. The findings show a general trend to treat cataract with uveitis by IOL implantation in Japan.
