失明初期患者のケア

Primary care for patients with recent visual loss

（17-P3-20）　入院中の失明初期患者に対し，家庭への社会復帰を可能にするため，さまざまな援助を行った。症例は抗リン脂質抗体症候群の37歳女性と増殖糖尿病網膜症の49歳男性であった。両者とも両眼完全失明状態で離床できなかった。定期的に訪床し，患者の失明受容の状態把握を行い，簡単な日常生活訓練および歩行訓練を行った。結果的に両者とも，家人の助けを受けながら家庭生活および簡単な社会生活が営める状態となった。医療サイドが失明初期患者とその家族に積極的に関わることは，患者の社会復帰に重要であり，医療から福祉への“つなぎ”をより確実なものにする。

We tried to offer support to two patients with recent visual loss. One was a 37-year-old female with antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. The other was a 49-year-old male with diabetic glaucoma. We paid frequent bedside visits, checked how they accepted their state of blindness and trained them for basic daily activities. It is necessary for the medical staff to approach the patients and their families with a positive attitude and to provide proper care to achieve a better perception and a smooth transition to the new environment.
