ステロイド局所注射で退縮をみた眼窩頭蓋内血管腫瘍の1例

Intralesional corticosteroid induced regression in a case of orbital and intracranial hemangioma

　眼窩内から頭蓋内におよぶ巨大眼窩内海綿状血管腫で，ステロイドの局注が著効を示した1症例を経験した。症例は4か月女児で，眼科所見では右眼の著明な眼球突出がみられ，画像上眼窩筋円錐外から頭蓋内に広がる血管腫であった。最初の1年間は経過観察して自然退縮を待ったが，腫瘍の大きさに変化がなかったため，ステロイドの局所注射を行った。その後腫瘍は著明に縮小した。

A 4-month-old female infant presented with huge capillary hemangioma in the right orbit extending to the brain. The size of the tumor remained unchanged during one year's follow-up. We then injected corticosteroid preparations into the orbital lesion. The tumor showed remarkable regression during the ensuing 6 months.
