片眼性網膜色素変性症患者眼底の走査レーザー検眼鏡所見

Scanning laser ophthalmoscopic features of unilateral retinitis pigmentosa

　片眼性網膜色素変性症の2症例を，走査レーザー検眼鏡（SLO）の単色光で観察した。両症例とも，罹患眼では健眼に比べて，乳頭黄斑間の視神経線維が疎で不鮮明であった。1例では，罹患眼の黄斑の低輝度領域が健眼よりも広く，視力が正常な他の1例では，罹患眼と健眼とで差がなかった。この2例間の黄斑所見の違いは，黄斑部での網膜変性の進行程度を反映したものと解釈された。

Scanning laser ophthalmoscope, SLO, was used in assessing the fundus lesions by mono-chromatic light in two cases of unilateral retinitis pigmentosa. The nerve fibers in the papillomacular area were sparse and indistinct in the affected eyes of both patients. The fovea appeared to be wider in the affected than the fellow eye in the case 1. The fovea appeared similar in both eyes in the case 2 with intact visual acuity. The observed differences in the fovea between the two cases could be detected by SLO only and not by routine funduscopy.
