　硝子体切除術の際に採取した眼内組織生検により診断できた眼内T細胞悪性リンパ腫の73歳女性例を経験した。リンパ腫に対して放射線療法，化学療法を行ったが，患者は診断確定後約半年で死亡した。剖検の終果，ほぼ全身にリンパ腫の病巣が認められた。臨床経過からは腫瘍は眼内原発であると考えられ，また剖検で得られた病理所見によっても眼球から中枢神経系への転移が示唆され，さらに，リンパ腫の脳内浸潤経路はVirchow-Robin腔であると考えられた。

A 73-year-old woman presented with gradually deteriorating vision due to vitreous opacity andiritis over the past 13 months in her right eye. Intraocular T-cell malignant lymphoma was diagnosed bybiopsy of intraocular tissue obtained during vitrectomy. The patient died 6 months later in spite of radiationand chemotherapy. Clinically, the malignant lymphoma appeared to arise primarily from the right eye.Postmortem studies showed metastasis of tumor from the right eye to the central nervous system, probablythrough infiltration along the Virchow-Robin spaces in the optic nerve and brain.
