シクロスポリン点眼が著効した難治性春季カタルの2例

Topical cyclosporine was effective in two cases of severe vernal keratoconjunctivitis

　難治性春季カタルに対し，シクロスポリンの点眼を行い良好な結果を得た2症例を経験した。2症例とも結膜炎に角膜障害を合併しており，抗アレルギー剤，副腎皮質ステロイド，角膜保護剤の点眼を試みたが角膜障害は改善されず，掻痒感や眼痛，羞明も持続したため，0.33％シクロスポリン点眼液1日1回の点眼を3〜6週間続けた。またその間，抗アレルギー剤，副腎皮質ステロイドの点眼も併用した。シクロスポリンの点眼により，角膜障害は改善し，結膜所見も改善し，掻痒感は軽快した。またシクロスポリンの点眼による副作用は認めなかった。シクロスポリン点眼は，難治性春季カタルに有効であると思われた。

We treated severe vernal keratoconjunctivitis in an 11-year-old male and a 73-year-old female. Itching and corneal lesion persisted after antialler-gic drugs, corticosteroid and cornea-protecting eyedrops. We then started instillation of 0.33% cyclosporine ophthalmic solution once a day for 3 or 6 weeks. Antiallergic and corticosteroid eye-drops were also used. The treatment was effective in remarkably alleviating itching and lesions of the cornea and conjunctiva. No side effects were obser-ved during the treatment.
