　4歳児114名，6歳児255名に標準色覚検査表第1部，第2部（SPP-Ⅰ，Ⅱ）を用いて色覚検査を行い，SPP-Ⅰについては幼児用色覚検査表としての適否，SPP-Ⅱについては表の種類別正読率について検討した。

　SPP-Ⅰ，Ⅱともに検査可能なものの割合は4歳女児を除き90％以上であった。またSPP-Ⅰで色覚異常と判定されたものは3名であった。さらにSPP-ⅡのBY，RG，S表はおのおのすべて4歳児6歳児とも95％以上の正読率であった。

　SPP-Ⅰ，Ⅱは幼児用色覚検査表として十分使用できるものと考えられる。

We evaluated the feasibility of Standard Pseudo-chromatic Plates part Ⅰ and Ⅱ (SPP- Ⅰ and Ⅱ) in 114 children aged 4 years and 255 children aged 6 years. Clinically satisfactory responses were obtained in 90% of the test subjects except 4-year-old girls. More than 95% of normal test subjects showed correct responses to SPP-Ⅱ. Congenital color anomaly was detected in 5 children, 1.4%, with SPP- Ⅰ plates. The findings showed clinical feasibility of SPP- Ⅰ and Ⅱ in preschool children.
