卵黄様黄斑変性症は脈絡膜新生血管を高頻度に合併するか？

Is choroidal neovascularization a frequent feature in vitelliform macular dystrophy?

　卵黄様黄斑変性症の同一家系3症例を報告した。3症例全例の片眼に網膜下出血ないし脈絡膜新生血管を認めた。症例1,2は姉弟例であり，姉には6歳の初診時より網膜下出血が認められ，視力は低下していた。4歳の弟は網膜下出血は一度もなく，視力低下をきたした7年後に，蛍光眼底撮影で脈絡膜新生血管が証明された。症例3はこの姉弟の従兄弟であるが，初診時より1年半後に網膜下出血があり，視力低下をきたした。視力障害をきたした本症に蛍光眼底撮影を施行すれば，より高頻度に脈絡膜新生血管の存在を認めるものと思われた。

We observed vitelliform macular dystrophy in 3 members of one family. The condition occurred in a 6-year-old girl, her 4-year-old brother and their 7-year-old male cousin. Besides typical yolk-egg lesion in the macula, we identified unilateral sub-retinal hemorrhage and/or choroidal neovascular-ization with subretinal hemorrhage in all the 3 members. Visual acuity was reduced by subretinal hemorrhage. We advocate fluorescein angiography in eyes with vitelliform macular dystrophy with reduced vision in order to detect possible associa-tion of choroidal neovascularization.
