　両眼に典型的な卵黄様黄斑病巣を有しながら，正常なEOGを示す1症例を経験した。

　（1）症例は21歳女子。両眼黄斑部に約2乳頭径の卵黄様病変が存在した。

　（2）経過観察中，1眼がscrambled egg stageを呈した。

　（3） EOGのL／D ratioは右1.90，左1.78であった。3カ月後の再検査では，右2.15，左1.82であった。

　（4）家族歴は証明されていない。

A 21-year-old female was diagnosed as vitelliform macular degeneration in both eyes. Metamorpho-psia appeared one month before. The past history was negative except for nephritis at the age of 17. There was no family history of eye trouble. Correct-ed visual acuity was 0.7 OD and 1.0 OS. The egg-yolk macular lesion was about two disc diameters. The upper nasal margin of the right macular lesion was irregular. Fluorescein angiographic findings were typical for early vitelliform macular degenera-tion. Bilateral relative central scotoma was detected by visual field examination.
