眼窩先端部症候群で発見された急性骨髄性白血病の1例

Orbital apex syndrome was the initial clinical manifestation in a case of acute mylogenous leukemia

　左眼の眼窩先端部症候群で発見された急性骨髄性白血病の1例を報告した。

　患者は49歳の男性で，初診時，左眼に眼窩先端部症候群があり末梢血液検査，骨髄穿刺所見などから急性骨髄性白血病M2（FAB分類）と診断された。全身的なB-DOMP療法ののち，眼症状が軽快した。

A 49-year-old male presented with diplopia of one week's duration. He was diagnosed as left orbital apex syndrome. Systemic examination led to the detection of acute myelogenous leukemia M2 by FAB classification. Treatment with systemic behenoyl cytosine arabinoside, daunomycin, vin-cristin, 6-mercaptopurine and prednisolone induced remission of ophthalmic symptoms after 2 months.
