眼瞼に生じた神経鞘腫の1例

A case of schwannoma in the eyelid

要約　目的：眼瞼部に発生した神経鞘腫の報告。

症例：39歳の男性が左下眼瞼の腫瘤切除を希望して受診した。腫瘤は，隆起性腫瘤として左下眼瞼鼻側縁に認め，レッセフェールテクニックにて切除した。

所見：組織病理的には，周囲との境界明瞭な充実性腫瘍を認め，紡錘形細胞が不規則な方向に流れるように増生していた。S-100免疫染色にて強陽性を示し，神経鞘腫と診断した。術後12か月経過した現在，再発はない。

結論：眼瞼部に発生する腫瘍の鑑別診断として，神経鞘腫も念頭に置くべきである。

Abstract　Purpose：To report a case of schwannoma in the eyelid.

Case：A male aged 39 years presented with a mass in the left lower eyelid. This mass appeared as an elevated tumor in the nasal margin of the eyelid. The tumor was surgically excised by laissez-faire technique.

Findings：Histopathological studies showed the tumor to be clearly bounded and to be composed of irregularly growing spindle cells. Immunochemistry for S-100 protein was strongly positive. The findings led to the diagnosis of schwannoma. There has been no recurrence for 12 months until present.

Conclusion：This case illustrates that schwannoma has to be considered in the differential diagnosis of eyelid tumors.
