Ophthalmological Applications of Varidase Oral Tablets

I．はじめに

　Streptokinase （S．K．）とStreptodornase （S．D．）との合剤であるVaridaseは，既に舌下錠として眼科領域に於ても各種の出血性眼疾患などの治療に次第に広く使用され始めているが，舌下錠では患者に投与する際に多少の不便があり，又年齢的にも制約を受けることなどの欠点がある。この点を補うため新たにレダリーによつて内服錠が開発されたが，著者等は今回このVaridaseOral （内服錠V．O．）を各種眼疾患に使用し有意の治験成績を得たのでその大要を報告する。

　V．O．は非病源性溶連菌の産生する酵素を精製した混合酵素製剤で1錠中にS．K．10,000単位とS．D．2,500単位を含有し，そのうちS．K．の方は生体内でFibrinを溶解するPlasminの活性化に関係している。即ち，S．K．の働きで或る種のProactivatorが活性化してActivorとなり，これがPlasminogenをPlasminとしてFibrinが溶解されると云われる。こうして，生体内の限局性の血栓中のFibrin沈着が除去されたり，新しいClotsの形成が低下したりして，その成長拡大が防止され，このため局所の循環改善や，抗体或いは投与薬剤の局所移行が容易となり，又結合織の調整などが改善されるものと考えられている。

Clinical studies were made over the clinical effect of Varidase Oral Tablets upon various hemorrhagic disorders of the eye. One tablet of Varidase Oral contains 10,000 units of streptokinase and 2,500 units of streptodor-nase. Patients were given two to six tablets per day for periods ranging from few days to several months. The results obtained were as follows:

(1) The drug proved effective in the majo-rity of cases with subcutaneous hemorrhage of the lid, hyposphagma and hyphaema due to trauma or surgery.
