ベーチェット病にみられた再発性結膜炎の1症例

Recurrent conjunctivitis in a case with Behçet's disease

　ベーチェット病の発作に同期して発生する結膜炎の1例を報告した。症例は66歳女性で，以前よりアフタ性口内炎，全身の結節性紅斑などを主症状とする一連のベーチェット病の発作時に，両眼の充血と眼脂を主徴とする結膜炎を繰り返し起こしていた。発作時には，両眼の上眼瞼結膜に高度の充血と巨大乳頭様所見が認められ，結膜塗抹標本において多数の好中球が認められた。上記の結膜炎はステロイドの点眼により次第に改善した。この再発性の結膜炎がベーチェット病と強い関連を持って生じていることが推測された。

A 66-year-old female was diagnosed as Behçet's disease 9 years before on account of aphthous stomatitis and erythema nodosum. Exacerbations in dermatologic manifestations concurred with epi-sodes of recurrent conjunctivitis. The ocular find-ings were characterized by marked mucopurulent discharge, conjunctival hyperemia and prominent papillary lesions in the upper tarsal conjunctiva. Numerous neutrophils were present in the conjun-ctival discharge. The ocular lesions favorably re-sponded to topical corticosteroid. The recurrent conjunctivitis appeared to be closely associated with Behçet's disease.
