アルゴンレーザー光凝固にて網膜剥離予防手術を行った73例,76眼について,予後および裂孔,円孔の性状等について検討した.
(1)アルゴンレーザー光凝固で網膜剥離予防手術を行った76眼中,新生裂孔を生じた症例は3眼(3.9%)であり,網膜剥離を発生した症例も3眼(3.9%)であった.
(2)網膜剥離を発生した3症例は,すべてmin-imal detachmentを伴う上方の裂孔または変性巣内円孔で光凝固の方法は不適当と思われた.
(3)光凝固による重大な合併症は無かったが,術中,網膜出血を見たものが1例あった.
We evaluated the efficacy of argon laserphotocoagulation in the prophylactic treatment of retinal detachment in 76 eyes (73 eyes). During the follow-up period of 3 months or more, new retinal breaks developed in 3 eyes (4%). Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment occurred in 3 eyes (4%).
In all the 3 eyes which resulted in retinal detachment, the retinal breaks or holes were located in the suprior fundus sector. The methods of laser photocoagulation were also interpreted as inadequate. Except these cases, prophylactic argon laser treatment was free of serious complications. In a single case, retinal hemorrhage occurred during photocoagulation.
