　Oculocerebro vasculometry （OCVM）処理専用のソフトウェアーを内蔵したポケットコンピューターを用い，救命センターで内頸動脈閉塞症と診断，または疑われた14例に対し，OCVMを施行し，これを処理した所，頸動脈撮影（CAG） CTの結果とよく一致した．次にOCVMの脈波の読みの検者による誤差を調べるため，二者が別々に読んでコンピューターに入力した結果，2％の危険率で一致がみられた．眼科疾患にこれを施行した所，虚血性視神経症を疑った8例中6例．片眼性一過性視朦症3例中1例に異常がみられ，このうち角膜脈波消失時眼圧／上腕収縮期血圧（OAP／BrSP）比0.45以下のものに，CAG上，内頸動脈の完全あるいは高度の狭窄が認められた．また網膜中心動脈閉塞症，網膜中心静脈閉塞症に対しては殆ど異常なOAP／BrSP比はみられなかった．球後における循環障害が疑われる症例に対し本法は，その非侵襲性から，内頸動脈閉塞症のスクリーニングに有効であると考えた．

The Oculocerebro vasculometry (OCVM) is non-invasive technique for the measurment of ocular blood flow. We used the pocket computer to analysis the OCVM results. This method was useful in the diagnosis of internal carotid occulusive disease on 14 cases at the stroke care unit. This procedure did appear to be affected by some ophthalmological disorder.

The six eighth of Ischemic Optic Neuropathy and two third of Monoocular Amaurosis Fugax appeared asymmetrical curve and lower ratio of OAP/BrSP. Especially, when the ratio was less than 0.45, internal carotid angiogram showed severe or complete stenosis.
