コンドロイチン硫酸ナトリウムの使用経験

Chondroitin sulfate in posterior chamber lens implantation

　コンドロイチン硫酸ナトリウム（以下CDS）を前眼部手術（222眼），主に後房レンズ移植術（213眼）に使用しその有用性を検討した。使用方法は後房レンズ挿入直前に前房内に約0.2mlのCDSと少量の空気を注入し前房形成を行った。その結果，空気単独使用の場合に比べ術中の前房からの空気の脱出は減少し，持続的な前房形成を行うことができた。また前房内の透見性も増大し，後房レンズ移植がより容易になった。術後3日以内に眼圧上昇を示したのは11／200眼（5.5％）でコントロール群（5／130眼，3.8％）との間に有意差はなかった。術後3カ月における角膜内皮細胞減少率は17.06％であった。

Sodium chondroitin sulfate (CDS), a viscoelastic material used in anterior segment viscosurgery, was evaluated for its clinical effectiveness in 222 posterior chamber lens implantations some other cases. Air and a small amount of CDS, about 0.2ml, were injected to the anterior chamber before inserting the posterior chamber lens. Due to the biochemical characteristics, excellent transparency and high viscosity, the surgical procedure was facilitated. Its presence also aided obserbation of the lens in the anterior chamber and maintenance of the anterior chamber depth during surgery.
