ヒマラヤ登山者にみられた網膜出血の1例

A case of high altitude retinal hemorrhage

　今回，我々は高所登山中に両眼黄斑部に出血を起こした29歳の女性の症例を経験し，螢光眼底検査において毛細血管瘤様の毛細血管拡張，毛細血管の充盈欠損と，毛細血管よりの螢光漏出の所見を認めた。これらの網膜毛細血管の変化は，hypoxiaに起因するものと考えられた。

A 29-year-old healthy female developed bilateral central scotoma while climbing Himalaya moun-tains (maximum height : 4,135m) for 6 days. Ophthalmoscopy one week later showed patchy and flame-shaped retinal hemorrhages bilaterallyinvolving also the macula. Fluorescein angiogra-phy showed microaneurysms, capillary filling defect and dye leakage from the capillaries. These findings seemed to be the consequence of subacute retinal hypoxia.
