　色素性乾皮症の患者の角膜にみられた扁平上皮癌類似の変化を伴った腫瘍を切除し表層角膜移植を行った。経過は良好で術後4カ月現在移植片は透明性を保っており視力改善も得られ，腫瘍の再発は認められない。

　本症の角膜腫瘍に対する治療として表層角膜移植が有効と考えられる。

A case of 24-year-old male with xeroderma pig-mentosum is presented. He is a child of a con-sanguineous marrige and one of his brothers has xeroderma pigmentosum also. He developedfreckle-like pigmentations on exposed parts of the body since the first decade of life. He had a tumor excised about his nose recently, and pathologically it was proved basal-cell epithelioma. He had white, irregular-surfaced tissue with vascularization on his left cornea. Excision of this tissue and lamellar keratoplasty was performed by us.
