硝子体手術術後管理における超音波検査の応用

Use of ultrasonography in the management of eyes following vitrectomy

　硝子体術後早期に眼底透見不能であった80眼に対し超音波検査を行い眼内の状態について検討した。硝子体手術眼において出血は塊状エコーを呈することはなく水平面を形成するのみで自然消褪した。網膜剥離は32眼に見られたが，うちいわゆるcycliticmembrane formationによるものが認められこれは最も難治なものであった。

We used B-scan ultrasonography in 80 out of a series of 200 eyes who underwent vitrectomy. In all 80 eyes, visualization of the fundus was highly inter-fered by opaque media or corneal haze on the 7th day after surgery. The cases included diabetic retinopathy (43 eyes), severe ocular trauma (16), massive periretinal proliferation (7), vitreous hemorrhage (6) and other vitreous disorders (8). Ultrasonic examination showed no abnormali-ties in 35 eyes of the 80 eyes. In the other 45 eyes, we detected residual blood (5 eyes), residual vitreous (4), retinal elevation (32), choroidal effu-sion (3) and chroidal hemorrhage (1).
