両眼開放と他眼遮閉での屈折度変化

The difference between binocular and monocular refractions

　Objective Automated Refraction （Dioptron II®）を用いて，同一被検者に対して，両眼開放測定と他眼遮閉測定を行い，測定法の違いによる屈折度の差を検討した。我我は，6歳より15歳までの裸眼視力1.0未満の生徒よりアトランダムに抽出した各学年約50〜100名を被検者として選んだ。

　両眼開放と片眼遮閉と測定条件を変えることにより，球面屈折度では平均−0.3D，乱視度数においては平均一0.1Dの変化を示した。この両者でのそれぞれの変化は，P＜0.05で有意差を認めた。各年代における，球面度数，乱視度数のその変化の量は，ほぼ同程度であった。乱視軸については，有意ある差は認めなかった。

We performed automated refractometry in each of 803 schoolyear children under two conditions : with both eyes open (binocular) and with one eye occluded (monocular). The children were between 6 and 15 years of age and therefore consisted of 10 age groups. Each group contained 50 to 100 sub-jects. All the tested subjects in the present study were randomly selected and had a visual acuity of 1.0 or more in uncorrected state. Dioptron II was used throughout the present study.

The state of refraction changed by -0.3D spherical and -0.1D cylindrical when the mea-surement was shifted from binocular to monocular.
