Pneumatonograph®用sensor固定装置の試作とその使用成績

Development and clinical application of a sensor holder for Pneumatonograph®

　従来，検者の手持ちで測定が行われていたAlcon Applanation PneumaticTonometer （PneumatonographD）のsensor固定装置を試作し，正常眼の眼圧測定に試用した結果，眼圧測定値の安定性と精度の向上と，測定時の被検者と検者の双方の緊張と疲労の軽減をもたらすことができ，臨床的に有用なことを確認した。

　さらに，本固定装置の使用の有無での測定値とGoldmann Applanation Tonometerでの測定値について比較検討を行った。

We developed a new sensor-holder to be used adjunct to pneumatonograph (Alcon) in order to stabilize the wave form in the recorded tonogram and to relieve fatigue of the patients. This appara-tus was clinically tested in 130 eyes (66 patients) which proved to be normotensive by Goldmann applanation tonometry. The intraocular pressure averaged 15.0±2.48 mmHg.

The intraocular pressure in the same eyes aver-aged 17.6 ± 3.23 mmHg when measured by pneu-matonograph without the use of our sensor-holder. It averaged 17.7±3.50 mmHg. The difference was statistically insignificant.
