Screening test of color vision using the Ishihara plate (9 plates) was performed on 32,769 children (males : 16,839, females : 15,930) in the 4th grade of primary school. Anomaloscope, Panel D-15 test and Ichikawa's Lantern test were performed on 891 children (males : 814, females : 77) who were picked up in the screening test.

A. Children with normal color senses picked up in the screening test

1. An overwhelming majority of the females picked up by the screening test had normal color sense, who also had the possibility of being the carriers of congenital color vision defects.
