眼科領域における超音波Tissue Characterization，特に眼内膜様物のそれについて

Ultrasonic tissue characterization of membranelike structures in the vitreous

　眼内膜様物の超音波組織特性を知るために，眼内膜様病変，すなわち網膜剥離94眼，硝子体膜形成58眼，増殖性糖尿病性網膜症33眼，計185眼について，Aモードによるquantitative echography （Ossoinig）を行い，次の結果を得た。

（1）網膜剥離では，89％において非常に強い超音波反射性が，9％において比較的強い反射性が示された。

（2）硝子体膜形成では，88％において非常に弱い反射性が，9％において比較的強い反射性が示された。

（3）増殖性糖尿病性網膜症では，超音波反射性に一定の傾向がみられず，強いものと弱いものがみられた。

　このように眼内膜様病変の超音波組織鑑別にquantitative echographyは有用であるが，病変の形態をよく描き出す映像法の併用がより正確な情報をもたらす。

In order to clarify the criteria for tissue charac-terization of membrane-like structure in the vitre-ous as seen by ultrasonography, we performed quantitative echography, as proposed by Ossoinig, in 185 eyes with membrane-like structures in the vitreous. These eyes consisted of 94 eyes with reti-nal detachment, 58 with vitreous membrane for-mation and 33 with proliferative diabetic retino-pathy. The intensity of ultrasonographic reflecti-vity of the membrane-like structure in the vitreouswas graded into 3 groups : strong (less than 15Δ dB), moderate (between 16 and 19Δ dB) and weak (more than 20Δ dB).
