Triangle症候群と黄斑部変性

Triangular shaped choroidal degeneration and macular degeneration

　Triangle症候群に黄斑部変性を合併した5症例について，臨床的検討を加え，次のごとき結論を得た。

　（1）特定領域のTriangle症候群，すなわち，①黄斑部耳下側，②黄斑部下方，③黄斑部と乳頭間の下方，と黄斑部変性が関連を有していると考えられる。

　（2）黄斑部の変性は，老人性黄斑部変性であり，病因は脈絡膜循環障害により黄斑部の加齢現象が促進された結果と考えた。

　（3）年齢的には，50歳以上で，漿液性中心性脈絡膜症の合併例40歳代に比べ，高齢であった。

A report was made of five cases of triangular shaped choroidal alteration with senile macular degeneration. The macular lesions were various in nature and included mottled pigmentation, drusen, choroidal neovascularization, hemorrhage, exudate and serous detachment of the retina. The choroidal alteration was located in either of the three well-defined areas. The first was localized temporal to the macula (within 1/2 to 2 disc diameters from the fovea) extending infero-tempo-rally. The second was localized inferior to the macula extending towards the infero-temporal periphery.
