先天性眼窩眼瞼嚢腫の2例

Two cases of congenital orbito-palpebral cyst

緒　言

　小柳^1），Von Szily^2）らにより，眼窩眼瞼嚢腫は胎生4ないし5週頃の眼胚裂の閉鎖不全および神経外胚葉自身の発生異常であると病理組織学的に裏付けられている。また1858年Arlt^3）の報告以来，眼窩発育不全を伴う無眼球症または小眼球症として既に数多くなされているが，最近著者らは2例の眼窩眼瞼嚢腫を経験したので臨床学的，組織学的鑑別に加えて，眼科領域で盛んに応用されているCT scanによる診断等についてここに報告する。

Two cases, females of 13 and 19 years of age, presented congenital orbito-palpebral cysts with microphthalmos. The cyst was surgically remov-ed in both cases. From histopathological point of view, it is stressed that orbito-palpebral cyst should be differentiated from neurinoma and sarcoma, particularly when there is gliosis or abundant connective tissue. Clinically, it is im-portant to ascertain if the cyst is communicated with the cranial cavity or not.

In the present cases, the physical and x-ray findings contributed in establishing the diagnosis.
