漿液性中心性脈絡膜症における光凝固について—経験例と奏効機構

Xenon Arc Photocoagulation in Idiopathic Central Serous Coroidopathy:Report of 102 Cases and Effects of Mild Photocoagulation

緒　言

　漿液性中心性脈絡膜症（以下CSC）の治療法としての光凝固法は，すでに臨床報告により有効性が確認されているが^1〜24,27），稀に重篤な合併症を伴うとされている^{4,5,13,14,27）}。

　一方，CSCは自然治癒傾向もあるため，光凝固法に消極的な報告もなされている^25）。したがつて，光凝固法は非常に有効な方法であるが，適応と方法について十分な注意を払わないと，かえつて不幸な結果を招くことになる。

We treated 103 eyes (102 cases) of idiopathic central serous choroidopathy by Zeiss xenon arc photocoagulator in the past 5 years. Visual acuity improved in 87% of the cases and there was no single instance in whom visual acuity decreased following photocagulation.

Two cases of particular interest are described in some detail. We treated a case with mild photocoagulation without producing a visible whitening of the leaking site of the retina. Fluorescein angiography on the day following photocoagulation revealed leakage of dye at the periphery of the coagulated lesion.
