  • Look Inside

The analysis of various proteins in CSF is im-portant for the diagnosis of central nervous diseases. We performed quantitative analysis of total protein and α1-Acid glycoprotein (AGP) in CSF and serum, and analysed the protein and glycoprotein in CSF and serum with disc electrophoresis.

This repotr describes the changes of α1-AGP and IgG in CSF and serum on various diseases.

( 1 ) The value of IgG and albumin are mesured by single radical immunodiffusion (RID) and α1-AGP is by electroimmunodiffusion (EID).

( 2 ) The value of IgG in control CSF is 3.05±1.20 mg/di (7.40±2.24%) and α1-AGP is 0.20±0.09 mg/dl (0.5±0.27%).
