CTによる眼窩腫瘍の検索について

Investigation on Space-occupying lesions of the orbit with Computed Tomography (CT)

緒　言

　Computed Tomography （CT）による眼疾患の検索については，すでに著者は，1,2の報告を行なつてきた^1,2）。CTが眼科領域において最もその威力を発揮し得るのは眼窩疾患であることはあらためて述べるまでもなく，眼窩疾患，特に眼窩腫瘍のCTによる検索に関してはすでに欧米においてAmbroseらをはじめいくつかの報告がみられ，CTの優秀性が強調^3〜9）されている。また本邦にても2,3の報告がなされているが^10〜12），CTが開発されていまだ目が浅いためいずれも症例数が少なく，また初期のCTによる検索は装置の不完全さの故に充分満足できるものではない。向後更に多数の症例をあわせての検討の望まれるところであろう。

　今回，著者らも1976年7月より1977年9月初めまでの14カ月間に眼窩腫瘍および偽腫瘍の症例計22例について，CTおよび組織学的に検索することができたので種々検討を加え報告する。

Sixty-four patients suspected of so-called orbital space-occupying lesions have been examined with EMI head scanner model 1000 and 1010. Ofthem, twenty-two cases were examined histopa-thologically after Krönlein operation, Killian operation and biopsy. These tumors with histopa-thological diagnosis were investigated with parti-cular regard to each absorption coefficient (EMI number), and effect of contrast enhancement (CE) with contrast medium. Clinical diagnoses before CT-scanning were also compared with those after CT-scanning.
